I am a former English teacher and I went back to university to get a degree in translation. I have now worked as a freelance translator (English to French) since 2021.
I’ve always been passionate about anglophone cultures and I’ve always had a deep love for literature and video games, as well as for all new narrative forms. I love playing with a variety of registers, vocabularies, sounds & rhythms to best serve the text I am translating, whatever its nature.
I mainly work for publishing and video games (often as part of the Warlocs localization collective for the latter). I therefore offer translation services, but I can also help you plan and manage the localization of your game, as well as its revision and LQA.
Whatever the text, I am always guided by the same three values: creativity, rigour and punctuality.
